Te Ao Turoa Environment Centre is operated by Tanenuiarangi Manawatu Inc, the mandated iwi authority for Rangitaane O Manawatu. We provide education, information and resources for the community on the environment. To Ao Turoa is your point of contact for information about the environment and environmental issues.

We also consult with a range of local, teritorial, government and non-government agencies on a range of environmental issues that impact on Rangitaane O Manawatu Rohe. These include cultural impact assessments, accidental discovery protocols, anything to do with the Resource Management Act 1991 and any other general environmental matters.
